This is my direct client opening for *Lotus Notes Migration/Administrator- Pittsburgh, PA*. This is a 6+ month's contract position. *Candidates need to interview in person and should be in the PA area.* * * Required Skills: -Experienced in migrating a large number of applications running Notes -6.5 Wintel based environment to the new Notes 8.0.1 AIX environment. -This person would have a strong Notes Developer Background with Manager Access in Production. An aggressive run rate of multiple applications per week would need to be achieved to hit currently established targets. Role: The scope of work would include the migrating of the 750 Identified Notes Applications from a Notes 6.5 Wintel based environment to the new Notes 8.0.1 AIX Environment. -They would perform the actual "Move" of the Notes database. During the implementation/migration, database access will be frozen(1 hour tops), the database will be copied to the R8 server, the redirection code will be moved to the R6 production copy, database access will be restored, when the user goes to access their R6 icon they will be redirected to the Domino 8 server. -They would provide technical hands on trouble shooting after the move for any issues relate to the applications' moved from the R6 to the R8 servers They would provide technical hands on trouble shooting for users that have moved to the R8 environment while still accessing applications that stayed on r6.5 servers. -This person would also coordinate closely the move of the applications to the R8 application server with the project managers, understanding the schedule for user moves and prioritize application migrations -This person when not busy with other items can help with identifying owners of 'orphaned applications', reconciling lists etc& (these are considered lower priority). -Would be responsible for technical input into building out the playbooks done by the project managers from week to week *Please complete the following skills-matrix and send back with your updated resume.* Full Name: Degree Major: Total IT Experience: Total Lotus Notes Migration/Administrator exp: Total exp in migrating a large number of applications running Notes: Total exp of 6.5 Wintel based environment to the new Notes 8.0.1 AIX environment: Total exp of Notes Developer Background with Manager Access in Production: Total exp of R6 and R8 server: Total Domino 8 server exp: Last 4 digits of SSN: Have you applied recently for this requirement earlier through any one else?
