Opening for *Lotus Notes Consultant - Pittsburgh, PA. This is a 6 months contract position. Candidates need to interview in person and should be in the PA area.* * * Required Skills: Infrastructure Project Planning experience. Skills: This person is expected to have a strong technical background with an understanding of the email technologies stated above & this person would have a working knowledge of Lotus Note Databases. The schedule of multiple applications would be tracked in a Notes Database. Progress made by the applications would be tracked against 4 to 5 high level milestones such as project team engaged, migration date agreed to, App remediated and tested, App migrated. Role: -The scope of work includes working with the Notes Messaging Application Project Management team, Application Project Managers, and back end Infrastructure (Server) teams to taking input from, prioritizing and then scheduling the cut overs to the new Notes 8.0.1 environment. -This could include SMTP, MAPI and Notes applications. -Day to day work would include building an initial master schedule and regularly reviewing it with the Messaging Project management team, following up on corrections and adjustments to the schedule with the application teams leads. -This person would be responsible for pulling together weekly reports on progress and ensure that the Messaging App remediation team, Management and technical personnel are up to date with status. -This person would not be responsible for the developing the mechanics and or strategy of the actual application migration nor the issues that would develop as a result of. These tasks would be left to the Notes Project Management teams.
