*Taking bottom line responsibility for Test Automation,Performance, stress
testing and deliver defect free, quality code.
* Define test scope, estimates and timelines and overall test strategy.
* Coding automated test scirpts using Mercury Quick Test Professional & Load
Runner
* Continuously thinking about Automation and provide cost reduction to the
company with the Automation ideas.
* Project planning, tracking and status reporting
* Motivate and mentor team members.
* Taking the training sessions to new team members.
* Interfacing with the offshore/onshore and development teams.
* Attends Program level calls and provide Granite Representation.
* Develops and maintains testing training documents.
* Works with the TL in discussions with other interfacing application
partners to understand scope and requirements.
* Evaluate software applications against design specifications and user
requirements and determine test efforts and amount of risk taken with the
planned approach.
* Generate test plans, test matrixes, and schedules for large projects.
* Candidates with Knowledge in Telecom networks/topologies and
Telcordia/Cramer Inventory Management Systems will be greatly considered for
the position
* Candidates with Quick Test Professional Certification will have an
advantage
* This Position will not be limited to Test
Automation but may also include manual testing and Testing On Call support..
