*Job Location:Concord, CA Rate:$58/hr C2C Job Duration:4 – 6 months * Job Title:SQL Server Database Support/Administration Job Responsibilities: · The Database Support Engineer will maintain the existing Databases, Tools and servers. This candidate will also run the periodic Tools and Trackers Validation. · Maintain SQL Server for performance data. · Help Engineers building quires for Data warehouse. · Respond to Engineer questions regarding Data warehouse/Databases. · Update and maintain codes. · Build specialized quires for Engineers, helping with Oracle, TQSL quires. · Resolve problems with searches on Engineering Data warehouse as well as SQL server. · SQL sever database administrator to keep existing webpage's functioning. · Building tables · Views and Jobs (schedule Jobs) · Optimization of quires · Locating Failed Processes · Develop new tools as per the provider specs within the specified timeline. Job Requirements: · Proficient in SQL for Oracle/Server, Visual Basic/http/html · Good working knowledge of Excel and its macros. · Proficient ASP.net/ C+, AJAX, VB Scripts, Java. · Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Previous experience training others. · Excellent computer skills.
