We have an immediate opening for a J2EE Developer with at least 5
years of experience.
The position is short term position for 4 months. The
Candidate will develop, code, test, and debug new software and
existing software.
The position requires a working knowledge of J2EE Technologies and web-based
application development. This person will be responsible for end to end
development.
Strong development skills in
Java/J2EE
JSP
JSF
XML
EJB
JMS.
Experience with XML standards and technologies (XML, XSLT, JAXB, XQuery,
XPath)
Strong experience with Struts, Spring and Hibernate frameworks is must.,
Relational database experience with Oracle and JDBC is a must.
Previous work experience with Rational Application Developer is must.
Experience working with WebSphere Application Server is a plus.
Portlet Framework development experience is a plus.
Documentum/DFC/DFS development experience is a plus.

Support production operation - fast response to production issues including
use of UNIX commands to identify and fix issues. Analysis and development of
requirements for enhancements and maintenance fixes to Java-based web
applications and web services. Design and development of enhancements and
maintenance fixes, including architecture, system, and interface design and
development. Development and execution of test plans. Research and analysis
of tools, configuration, and testing of hardware. Development of and updates
to technical content of documentation. Design, develop, and implement highly
complex computer programs; gather information from existing systems; analyze
code and design and code modifications; provide technical advice on complex
programming; create appropriate documentation in work assignments, such as
code programs and technical documentation. To qualify for this position,
candidate must have a minimum of 4 years experience information systems and
a degree in computer science or a related field. Experience must include at
least five years with Java including but not limited to J2EE, EJB, JSP, UML,
XML, XSL. Desired skills include strong written and verbal communication
skills, effectively in a team environment with the ability to handle
multiple tasks and adjust priorities to meet customer needs.
