This individual will leverage their knowledge of industry best practices and infrastructure to streamline testing and determine appropriate positive and negative test cases and desired results. As needed, this individual may assist developers with troubleshooting and be called upon to assist other testers on critical deliverables. In this position you will support and perform a wide range of technical activities in support of message oriented middleware and web service applications. These systems include IBM Message Broker, Microsoft BizTalk Server and Mainframe MQ programs. *As a Lead Certification Test Engineer, you will be required to * - *Perform Certification (QA) testing for Local and National initiatives; *** - *Communicate effectively with the Development Leads, internal managers, business, project management and other IT teams to review project documentation and determine testing needs; *** - *Create Testing Dashboards to communicate project status and include metrics for continued process improvements; *** - *Use your testing experience to report & resolve defects in Quality Center. * - *Work independently and work with your peers when guidance is required. * - *Report open issues and ensure that sufficient documentation is available to solve technical problems; *** - *Provide Test Summary documentation to communicate risk assessments and provide input so that a recommendation on the quality of the system can be made by your management; *** - *Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) *** - *Participate in internal design reviews *** - *Contribute to production readiness/hand-off review before go-live *** As a Lead Tester you must demonstrate that you deliver on commitment. *Experience / Qualifications* Ø *Minimum 5 years hands-on of experience in functional, system or integration testing.* Ø Proficient in testing web service oriented applications integrating legacy systems Ø Strong problem solving, analytical skills in testing, development and automation Ø Ability to decompose documents to create test cases and scenarios for complex integrations Ø Highly skilled in writing test documentation (plans, test cases, status report), executing test cases & identifying defects Ø Experience with testing tools (Mercury Quality Center) Ø Black or white box testing experience Ø Ensure Compliance with established methodologies Ø Strong communications/interpersonal/organizational skills a must.
