Target Start Date Immediate Job Description Client is looking for a candidate with 5-7 years of Siebel Technical Architect experience with a focus on Siebel Data Migration and Informatica ETL. The primary role of the Siebel Technical Architect is working within a team environment to design and develop software solutions within the IT organization's SDLC. These activities must be conducted within the activities defined by the Enterprise Life Cycle and other processes. This position is responsible for the long term health and well being of the Siebel application for which the candidate is hired. By working with all stakeholders, the resulting software solution should provide wide-spread benefit. It is also an important responsibility of the Technical Architect to build prototypes, attend requirements gathering meetings, support the testing process, and take feedback from UAT sessions to build a broad based consensus as to both the strategic and tactical direction of solutions. A technical architect needs to understand business functions, strategy, and the right technologies needed to support rapid methodology adoption a reality. The interface developer will be assigned to work on the Interface Redesign for DRMS. This work will include changing the way DRMS deals with failures of single records within a batch file to not reject the entire batch. In addition, improved error-handling will occur on the Siebel-side of DRMS rather than custom-coding ESB to perform this functionality. This will provide for a more maintainable and stable solution platform. This position will be writing code using Siebel eScript, changing integration objects, and configuring the system for the enhanced interface. Responsibilities Analyze internal and external customer needs, validate software requirements, and coordinate all Analytics development efforts. Document and integrate solutions design with regard to complex business processes and/or systems. Technical Architects also can perform in the role of Solutions Architects. They can be assigned responsibilities to assist with other Siebel programs/projects. Meet with requirements analysts to map business processes and software requirements to system requirements, generate design document, conduct unit testing and code reviews, and assist in user acceptance testing as requested. Responsible for producing deliverables related to the project assigned and post implementation support and system enhancements. Experience required in these areas of qualifications: Analyze internal and external customer needs, validate software requirements, and coordinate all Analytics development efforts.
