This is for my direct client opening for *Technical Project Manager - Jersey
city/ Stamford CT. This is a 3-6 months* contract position. The Hourly rate
is *DOE*.
*Job Description:*
· 5 to 10 yrs of experience working in the IT industry
· At least 5 yrs of experience managing projects and people with
medium to complex projects
· The person should a Technical PM and not just pure project
management
· Candidate should be from either development or architecture
background with hands on experience, not a pure Business Analyst or project
· Managing resources and project in a matrix environment
· Focused on delivery, proactive attitude, ability to hit the
ground running, can operate with minimal supervision, detail oriented, can
handle multiple priorities, go getter attitude
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Technology that it should have experience on
- Should understand various connectivity options like FTP,
HTTP,FTPS, SFTP, NDM
- Should know in details about encryption and decryption
methodology
- At least 3-4 yrs of experience in dealing with databases and
writing SQL statements and using tools like TOAD, SQLPLUS etc
- Proficient in using MS-Office tools like Excel, PowerPoint and
Outlook
- Java/J2EE platform (ideal candidate started his career as a
developer or was a developer at some point)
- .Net or Java/J2ee Architecture
· Knows the know-how of internals of GXS, someone who is already
familiar with GXS
Preferred
1. Anybody who has managed resources or projects that involves connectivity
setup
2. Experience in PGP encryption, Entrust Encryption
3. Knowledge of finance industry specifically dealing with CASH Management
