*Location: EL SEGUNDO- CA* *Duration: Permanent* *Salary: DOE* * * The Sr./Lead Java Developer is responsible for leading technical J2EE and Web 2.0 solutions. The position will require design and hands on coding. The qualified candidate must be comfortable leading a small team of developers and be efficient at presenting ideas to senior management. Responsibilities include: · Assisting with project planning task estimation, and task assignment · Leading project teams of 3-5 developers · Performing code & design reviews as well as hand-on development · Identifying and escalating team and project related issues · Acting as a senior technical advisor to the project team · Participate in strategic design and communicate design ideas and challenges to Sr. management. Qualifications · Must have development experience with at least 2 large scale customer facing J2EE web applications · Must have experience with building web application from scratch · Must have 2+ year development lead experience · Take ownership of project and execute with minimal supervision · Communication to management, developers, 3rd party vendor and product owner · Leading and mentoring small team members (3-5 members), code review, decision making, estimation and task assignment · Must have willingness to work in a fast-changing environment · Must have high-availability to support 24/7 mission critical application. Technical skills required: · Must have Java, J2EE, Ajax/JavaScript (Prototype, Dojo, toolkits etc.), HTML, CSS, XML, JSP, SQL, Web framework, Web Service · Must have expertise with Web 2.0 technologies · Must have experience with web frameworks · Must have experience with Web Service · Must have 5+ year hands-on java development with J2EE · Must have experience with supporting and tuning high-volume web application · Must have good Object-Oriented Design & Programming skills including UML and design patterns · Experience working on B2C or entertainment sites is desired. -- Thanks and Regards, Prabhu K.
