Period of Performance: Immediately Duration: 6+months JOB START DATE: As soon as the background check is complete. * * *Candidates selected for an interview will be subject to a detailed technical interview and required to come for a face to face interview. * *Position Summary: * This request is for a position in which the candidate will be *providing business analyst, testing* *methodology, and technical writer support for high profile* Windows-centric project that will be used by various development and validation components across a very large organization. We are looking for a motivated person who wants to work in a dynamic environment in which their expertise in requirements gathering, testing technologies, and technical writing skills can be fully utilized. *JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Job skills and requirements: * Work closely with project team to define and document detailed *test requirements for the Proof of Concept (POC) and Pilot efforts - Required * *Prepare test plans and test scripts *(as needed) to *test hardware and software components* and demonstrate the business condition under test and the expected results - *Required * Attend and provide detailed and accurate meeting notes from scheduled and ad hoc workgroup and project team meetings - *Required * Provide written feedback to the project team on *the testing progress* and to ensure the work is carried out in accordance with the schedule and the quality requirements - *Required* *Ensure high quality and accuracy is maintained throughout the lifecycle testing process - Required * *Thorough knowledge of structured test methods and processes - Required * Detail oriented, strong work ethic - *Required * Previous experience of *testing complex hardware and software* components - *Required* Knowledge of both *Manual and Automated Testing* - *Required * Some experience of testing using an automated test tool such as *Test Director, Quality Center*, or *WinRunner* - *Desired * Some experience of testing Windows Software Applications / Database applications produced using *VB, .NET, C#, Access, SQL Server* - *Desired * A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to work - *Required * *Additional requirements: * Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or similar. Ability to work independently as well as with others in a team environment. Ability to adapt well to change. Ability to effectively multitask.
