By 8-10 experience we expect the candidate has consistently designed, developed, unit-tested, and enhanced working application components as part of enterprise size projects. OS Development on Windows XP, Sun Solaris/Unix (optional) Architectures Sun J2EE Business logic design and development using interface oriented design principles, architectural frameworks such as EJB, Spring, Hibernate, Log4J, JAXP, AOP, Business Objects, Service Objects, Data Access Objects (DAO), Value Objects (VOs), MVC, and so on. Languages Java, EJB 3.0, Hibernate (and HQL), Spring, JDBC, SQL, XML, XSL, XQuery, XPath, HTML. SOA Web Services, Axis, SOAP, WSDL .. Messaging JMS, MQ Series, Message Bus (Enterprise Service Bus) Databases Oracle9i, PLSQL, SQL, MS Access, MS SQL Server2000, DB2 Enterprise Application Programming JSP/Servlet/EJB, Taglibs, Struts, hibernate, Ant, Log4j ,JUnit, JMS, JAAS, XML, XSL, XQuery. Persistence Programming Hibernate, EJB3.0 Servers (preferred) Oracle Application Server 10x, Oracle Portal Server 10x. (Optional) Any Commercial J2EE application server. Development Tools Oracle JDeveloper, Eclipse 3x, (or similar IDE's such as JBuilder, RSA). Testing Tools Test Driven Development and TDDD tools such as JUnit for unit-testing Methodology RUP, any SDLC based approach. Quality Assurance Rational ClearQuest for defect tracking Design and Modeling Very familiar of using UML in analysis and design. Have used one or more of the following modeling tools: Rational Rose, RSA, Visio, MagicDraw Additional Information: Technical J2EE development resource who is a subject matter expert on J2EE Business tier component design and development. Implement Use-Case business logic as java components, libraries, API, patterns, and services interfacing with integration and data services layers to extract business data and in turn provide this data for use by presentation layer developers and architects (FrontPlane). Document business tier design (JavaDoc), API, patterns, best practices, and coding standards. Participate in code review and detailed design reviews.
