This is my direct client opening for *IIS Engineer / Web Developer- Middletown, CT*. This is a *12 months Contract* position. The Hourly rate is *DOE*. *Job Description:* -Client is looking for a consultant that has IIS experience as well as Web development skills (HTML, COM, DCOM, ASP.NET). -The consultant can be strong in either of these areas and weaker skills in the other. This consultant will have 2 to 4 years of experience in providing engineering support to a major migration from IIS v6 to IIS v7 and trouble shoot the web farm. Due to latter, the consultant must have basic Web Application knowledge: HTML, COM, DCOM, ASP.NET experience too. Candidate must be a strong team player with enterprise environment experience. The ideal candidate must have experience migrating web applications between IIS versions, IIS 6 to IIS 7 experience.
