This is for my direct client opening for *People Soft Techno Functional Consultant – Boston, MA*. This is a *3 months Contract* position. The Hourly rate is *DOE*. *Project Description: * * * The individual in this role will be expected to: *-*Create functional and technical specification documents for functions in the PeopleSoft Financials environment requiring customizations in v9.0, specifically for the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Purchasing modules -Interpret business requirements into concise functional specifications that explain the reason behind required customizations -Provide technical direction in the form of written specifications for the implementation of required customizations, trying to reduce the amount of customized objects and the complexity of implementation wherever possible -Perform PeopleSoft development and unit testing for specific functions where directed to do so This individual must have the following skills and background: -Multiple projects’ experience in writing clear and concise design specifications for customizations to PeopleSoft Financials modules, with the ability to interpret users’ business requirements into functional specifications -Experience writing technical specifications that can be handed off to a PeopleSoft Developer for implementation -Experience developing and unit testing PeopleSoft customizations using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, and SQR *-Current Project tasks (approx 70%) will be to create functional and technical specification documents for functions in the PeopleSoft Financials environment requiring customizations in v9.0, specifically for the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Purchasing modules. * *-After the technical specifications are written then this consultant will do the development itself (30%).
