*Senior Oracle Demantra Consultant***
*Location: Ashburn, VA***
*Contract Length: 6 months***

*Overview:***
We currently have an opening in Ashburn, VA for a Senior Oracle
Demantra Consultant. The Sr. Consultant will have a proven track record in
planning, directing, coordinating and implementing Oracle Demantra
module with a main focus on Demand Forecasting, Trade Promotion Management,
and Predictive Modeling. The Demand Planning specialist will be responsible
for providing product support on the Demantra module to the customers,
implementing the Demand Planning module while providing functional guidance
to the technical staff, and acting as a liaison to the IT/business team.
This person will document, advice, provided statuses and strategize both
management and technical issues to ensure that specified goals are
accomplished within prescribed time frames, funding parameters and project
objectives. The successful candidate will perform primary responsibilities
personally or through matrix supervisors, contractors, sub-contractors,
consultants and other project personnel. He/she must demonstrative a
successful track record supervising internal and external teams.
Daily Responsibilities:
· Lead the Functional team for Oracle Demantra Planning and
Forecasting implementation
· Work closely with customers to collect and understand business,
functional, and technical requirements
· Conduct CRPs, business process review and Fit/Gap analysis
· Guide the design and architecture of the Oracle Manufacturing
solution
· Provide Functional Guidance and inputs to the implementation team
· Create and update Functional specs, business requirement
documents, test plans and other Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
documents
· Document requirements and actively participate in design,
configuration and testing activities
· Participation in preconstruction and planning reviews,
and meetings.
· Involvement in process for preparing project documents
· Review and recommend production control and monitoring tools,
processes, procedures and benchmarks
· Identify, report, and escalate project risks
· Report on progress of development process
· Participate in problem solving sessions
· Manage appropriate communications with the customer during the
project
*Qualifications:** *
· *Bachelor's degree from an accredited university *
· *7+ years Experience in Supply Chain Products *
· *5+ years of experience with Oracle Demantra *
· *3+ years of experience with other Demand
Forecasting products such as PeopleSoft, SAP APO, JDE etc. *
· *2 Full Lifecycle Demantra Implementation Experiences *
· *At least 2 Full Lifecycle any SCM Upgrade Experience *
· *Can demonstrate strong skills in Demantra Functional, project
planning, execution strategy, issue escalation, and project communications *
· *Can demonstrate In depth knowledge of best practices and future
developments in the field of Supply Chain *
· *Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a production support of
Demantra/PeopleSoft SCM/ SAP APO/JDE *
· *Demonstrates high-level of written and oral communication in the
English language*

*Preferred:***
· *3+ years with any ERP SCM *
· *PeopleSoft technical experience *
· *3+ years experience with application servers *
· *5+ years experience with Oracle databases and Linux *
· *Exhibits knowledge of SDLC Methodology (Rational, RUP or Other) *
· *Demonstrates excellent problem diagnosis and analytical skills *
· *Demonstrates poise, confidence and professional maturity to
interface with senior-level executives in a clear and concise manner *
· *Exhibits the ability and tenacity to resolve open issues *
· *Efficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,
Access, Project, Visio) *
· *Fortune 500 or Telecom Experience *
· *Experience managing in political environments and ability to
interact with executives as well as individual contributors. *
· *Direct management experience of teams of 10+ or more *
· *Experience managing patches, fixes and upgrades in a production
environment for PeopleSoft SCM*
