This is for my direct client opening for *Java/.NET/SAP Architect - Newark, NJ*. This is a *6 month’s **contract position*. The Hourly rate is DOE. Local candidates are highly preferred. *Job Description:*** Provide hands-on technical expertise to the SAP & MOSS Portal team with respect to implementing internally and externally facing SAP and Microsoft based Portal solutions. Assist the Manager and architect in the review and evaluation of project deliverables as well as overall planning, organizing and controlling the Portal activities of the Competency Center and in the development of the overall Portal project plans and timetables. Deliver complex client Portal projects with aggressive project targets around time, cost and quality. Drive the adoption of Microsoft Sharepoint and SAP Portal technologies. Lead resources in the definition, development, specification and communication of the firm’s Portal navigation and architecture plan and the infrastructure components required to support it..
