Position: Architect
Location: Jersey City, NJ Duration: 6 months + contract - Very strong in core Java skills preferably with SCJP certification - Significant work experience in enterprise-class applications in the financial industry. Hands-on experience on high-volume transactional systems running on UNIX/Linux is desirable. - In-depth knowledge of multithreading and the Collections API in Java. Hands-on experience on debugging, profiling (including remote profiling), refactoring etc. - Good database knowledge. Proficiency in writing SQL queries, query tuning, and stored procedures; T-SQL. - High data volume experience - Working knowledge of UNIX shell scripts.
