This position will be responsible for modularizing and offloading hot spots
in the Data Director (LAMP) application to web services. The candidate must
have extensive experience in being able to create highly scalable/high
performance systems.**

*POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DELIVERABLES **(General description)*
- Session Handling: Creating a php module that utilizes MemcacheD with a
database backend. Solution needs to be HA
- Re-Architect the current data import tools in C to increase efficiency and
scalability
- Re-Architect the current pdf/excel/graph generation processes in C.
- Optimize application log-in process via modularized service
- MemcacheD invalidation utilizing MySQL UDF
- Implement MySQL Proxy solution.
*SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:*
Must Have extensive skills in:
C/C++
Linux System Internals
PHP Module Creation
MySQL UDF
MemcacheD
Preferred skills:
SQL Optimization
LUA
