Familiar with SQL, Query Patroller and UDB. Able to work with complex job flows and identify and solve problems with queries, apps and spider queries. Work with application DBAs to implement solutions to tune and increase performance in the database environments. Develops detailed design specs from high level design or analysis documents. Develops detailed test plans and specs from high level design or analysis documents. Implements systems into production. Strong analysis, design and construction skills. Strong oral and written communication - may have heavy client contact. May supervise or review work of programmers programmer analysts. *3 plus years experience. UML* 1. Identify jobs causing spiders and determine best approach to resolve the issue 2. Monitor query patroller on a regular basis through the day. 3. Attend Environment Management meetings and work to establish partnerships with the Webfocus and CEO teams to address needs. 4. Gather job flows for the following actions: a. Determine jobs that span widely and recommend opportunities for adding ControlM resources to limit how many jobs can run at a time. b. Determine any job schedules that are negatively impacting other flows and look for opportunities to modify schedule run times c. Work with application development teams to determine the best window for when new jobs should run. d.
