1. Business Industry Experience - Must have worked at an exchange or Large
trading/brokerage firm; Knowledge of derivatives, risk, collateral, trading
and options/futures experience a plus.
2. Technical skills - XML concepts & structure, Advanced SQL, UNIX,
experience in mult-tiered architecture, QTP and Loadrunner
3. QA knowledge (must be advanced level) - Testing methodologies, creating
test strategies and test plans, create testing metrics, requirements based
testing
4. Leadership skills - project planning experience, has worked independently
on projects
5. Communication skills - has experience in dealing with all levels of
management and users, ability to translate technical requirements to
non-technical users
*ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:*
The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst works with other Analysts to ensure
that the systems meet specified standards and requirements. This person
will be assigned to the Collateral in Margins project. This individual will
be experienced contributor in the Quality Assurance process including, test
planning and preparation, generating test cases and scripts, reporting upon
and coordinating test environments and activities, execution of test
scripts, recording results in a defect tracking tool, and provide general
mentoring on sound testing practices. The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst
will be a team player and work well with technical and non-technical
professionals in a project environment.
*Job Requirements:*
- 5 or more years of IT experience
- Competent to work at the highest Quality Assurance level of all
phases of system testing (must have backend testing experience)
- Experienced in the QA lifecycle
- Proficiency in SQL (2 years experience doing queries, data
manipulation, reading data models, navigating in relational databases)
- Fundamental knowledge of Unix (i.e. logon, change directories,
understand VI Editor)
- Experience with Mercury Test Director, QTP, Quality Center, Load
Runner
- XML (preferably FIXML) experience
Experience in the financial markets industry
Ability to communicate clearly/efficiently with users, management
and staff.
Ability to prioritize and coordinate across multiple departments *
Technical Skills:*
- XML concepts & structure, SQL a good understanding of complex
joins and unions, UNIX, experience in multi-tiered
architecture, QTP and
Loadrunner
