Position: Urgent 4 SR. SOFTWARE ENGINEERS (Java Swing) position Location: Milwaukee, WI 53202 Positions Requested: 4 Duration: 01/05/2010 to 09/30/2010 Rate: Open Phone interview then In-person. Description : Business Justification: • This contract position is for software Designer\Developer, required for predictable and successful project execution for two specific projects CCT and the OWS. • This is a user interface Java developer to help our current UI execution team with making addition/changes to our Supervisory platforms. • Bachelor's in EE or CS degree preferred. • With 5 yrs Experience in User Interface Specific Responsibilities: • Design and implement User Interfaces using Java Swing. JAVA SWING IS A MUST – candidates with other Java technologies (J2EE, JSP) must also be proficient in Java Swing. • Prepare accurate estimates for software development work; track and report progress on activities. • Develop and document visual, behavioral, and software designs for UI • Work across development teams to ensure design consistency and optimum performance of the system. • Troubleshoot problems and provide both design and development solution which this person will then implement. Experience Required: 1. JAVA SWING IS A MUST – candidates with other Java technologies (J2EE, JSP) must also be proficient in Java Swing. 2. 5 yrs min exp in software project development 3. 3 yrs minimum experience with user interface design and development 4. Proficient in Java Swing 5. Strong written communication skills, including documenting visual, behavioral, and software designs for user interfaces. 6. Bachelor's in EE or CS degree preferred. 7. With 5 yrs Experience in UI Desired : 1. Exp with the internationalization of software products 2. Exp in database design and implementation 3. Familiarity with UML notation. 4.
