This is my direct-client opening for an Environment Support Analyst – Wilmington, DE. This is a 5 month’s Contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE.
This is not a QA position. Within the last year the Infrastructure has been architected they are now looking for an individual to Implement, Build/develop & Support the System. What we need is an individual that has previous experience Implementing, building and supporting the QA testing environment using VMWare. This individual will NOT be involved with any testing of applications. What they will be doing is setting up the testing environment using VMware for the QA team to test the applications. We are looking for Infrastructure individuals that have a background in: Resetting the QA environment for different applications that are being tested. Our Client does not have total replication for every application in production. This position will involve modifying the hardware and software to get as close as possible to the production environment using VMWare and Virtual Center template technology. *Role: * Re-engineer the existing QA environments using VM technologies to create virtual on demand environments with least maintenance costs. *Required skills:* Expert in VM technologies is a must VMWare Virtual Center Windows Administration UNIX *Good to have:* Microsoft SMS DB Support (SQL, Oracle) IBM Websphere MQ Web Server Support (Apache/Tomcat, IIS, JBOSS, Websphere) Ability to interpret application code in logs Here are the priorities of the skills they are looking for in the Environment Support Analyst. 1.
