Expected Rate: Requirement Details : Job Title: Systems/IT Architect Duration : long term Location : Saint Louis, MO Openings : 2 Openings Rate: 50/hr on C2C We are looking for (2) Systems/IT Architect will be required to contribute in all phases of project development. This includes working with users, documenting system requirements, prototypes, design, develop and implement the Web application within the ITO RUP protocols and procedures. Detailed work may include documenting business models, use case models, activity diagrams, generating coding specifications, perform coding tasks, unit test all modules and implementation of the system. Selected staff will deliver completed system documentation and diagrams per the ITO Rational Software protocols and complete program components (Java, JSP, EJB, Servlets, Builds, etc.) as assigned. All components must be clearly documented. They must also create and maintain technical architectural diagrams, test plans and lead staff. Provide status reports to the project manager or lead. Complete system requirements documentation and estimates for projects and or tasks. Systems/IT Architect: . A Minimum of seven (7) years of direct work experience in IT. . Minimum of five (5) year experience with all of the following: o Architecting J2EE systems utilizing JSP, Servlets, EJBs, Struts, IBatis, and Data Transfer Objects specializing in electronic forms management. o Developing UI with HTML, JSP, and JavaScript. o J2EE patterns including MVC, View Dispatcher, Factory, Data Access Objects o XML, o RSA 7.x o Rational Unified Process (Full life cycle). o DB2/UDB. o Adobe Forms Server o Adobe Forms Server with Reader Extensions o Adobe Designer o Adobe Forms Manager o IBM MQseries . Undertake responsibilities of a sub-system within a major project or smaller systems development project. . Undertake responsibilities for analyzing, designing, testing distributed court content management, document management, workflow and imaging applications, which includes, but is not limited to, hardware, networking, and software components. . Complete project life-cycle involvement and responsibility, including significant customer contact, requirements gathering, development of specifications, presentations and the coordination of technical deliverables. . Provide the vision and the long-range technical strategy for the client, as well as, delivers architect solutions to complex application computing environments. . Works closely with the project manager and/or designee to define important system objectives such as cost, reliability, performance and maintainability. . Implements systems and determines the effectiveness of those systems in meeting stated objectives and requirements. . Evaluates hardware and software in system design. . Estimate time for activities in the system development cycle. . Participates in project definition activities, recommends and proposes solutions and methods/approaches to execute activities and tasks in work plans. . Must have interpersonal and supervisory skills. o Must be able to lead team members to initiate and complete system development projects.
