This position has just reopened. Notes from Manager - Project Manager - Sr. - Maximo They are working on a large implementation project for Maximo There are two main add-ons they are working with. Transportation ACM Asset Configuration Manager This is a large multi year project - currently in the third year - they are in their first round of implementation - they lost the project manager - One of the largest gaps on the team is in-house technical expertise. Most of the Maximo expertise has been through outside consultants in Tampa - outsourced. They want to bring some additional knowledge and expertise in-house. Really need someone that has some experience in managing, or at least being a technical lead for Maximo implementation - preferably large scale. The ideal candidate would have experience with the technical side of Maximo doing configuration and customization using the Report tool either Actuate or Birt. 12 month contract. Strong possibility of staying on as FTE. Railroad experience is much less important than Maximo experience. Identify, coordinate, and manage resources and key stakeholders for project. * Ensure effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project. * Manage all communication plans, training and documentation. * Deliver projects on time, at/under budget and within scope. * Communicate project status to all stakeholders on a regular basis throughout the lifecycle of the project. * Position requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills. * Expert knowledge of MS Project, Excel, MS Word and Visio. * 6+ years of prior experience in project management is required.
