Job: Linux Admin PHONE to hire Open Atlanta, GA 6 months Linux: * Must have demonstrated expertise (4+ years) in overall Linux Unix administration, including backup and recovery. * Expertise with RedHAT Linux 4.x and 5.x implementation, patching, support, and file system management required. * Linux performance and tuning expertise required. * Experience with RedHAT Satellite Server including channel creation and maintenance required. * RedHAT GFS Clustering under 5.x a strong plus. * Experince in VM ESX v-Center 4 a strong plus. * Our primary Linux hardware is Dell 2950s and r710s. AIX 5.3/6.1 Admin on power5/6 experience a plus, but not required. Platform independent skills: * Aggressive self-motivation under the direction of management and senior technical staff. * Quick problem determination and resolution within the confines of change control required. * Candidate must have strong analytical, research, and problem solving skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Must manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision and work well under pressure. * Must be able to address escalation items and conflicts in a timely, motivational and productive manner. * Midrange to Active Directory interface experience a plus. * Participation in after-hours and weekend activities as needed is expected. * Technical documentation writing and knowledge transfer required Prasad Ling Technologies, Inc.
