SharePoint is a portal software by Microsoft and for the BI consumption* * * *Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst* As a Sr. Business Intelligence analyst, your duties will have the following responsibilities for each BI project: • Gather and document business intelligence user requirements • Ensure concise communication of the business requirements to the development team • Be a liaison between the technical team and the business team. • Collaborate with the project manager on the project plan. • Contribute to the BI design • Establish a test strategy • Perform quality control on all BI deliverables • Write SQL queries to profile data and produce test results • Conduct data analysis as needed • Facilitate the user acceptance testing • Prepare a service level agreement Minimum Qualifications: • *5 years in a business intelligence analysis or data warehouse analyst role* • *Experience working with Microsoft business intelligence platform: SSIS, SSAS, SSRS and MOSS technology* • Experience in performing data models, cubes and reports testing • Strong requirements gathering and analysis skills • Intermediate knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL - required for query, profiling and testing • Database exposure: SQL Server, Oracle or similar • Advanced knowledge of data analysis, profiling and modeling • A degree in Computer Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience is required • *SharePoint experience is a must!
