Please let me know if you have any resource for the below opening… *Title: Security Analyst * *Location: Madison, WI* *Duration: 9 month project* *Responsibilities:* Identifying, testing, implementing, and maintaining the necessary controls and procedures to cost-effectively and uniformly protect information systems assets from intentional or inadvertent modification, disclosure or destruction. Overseeing the policy, standards and procedures found in the Great Lakes Security Policy. Interfacing with user community to understand their security needs. Reviewing, analyzing, implementing and administering vendor and internally developed software and procedures to address security requirements. Ensure the user community understands and adheres to necessary procedures to maintain security. Provide knowledge of security best practices to ensure the security of Great Lakes-developed applications. *Qualifications* Required Skills and Experience Experience with Windows server security Experience with security policy creation and compliance auditing Experience with risk assessment methodologies and mitigating controls Knowledge of and experience with security industry best practice Experience with routers, firewalls, Windows, Solaris and Linux servers Experience with server hardening and security controls Experience with server vulnerability and patching processes Knowledge of Windows Active Directory and access control principles Knowledge equivalent to the completion of a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field of study Highly proficient in the use of multiple IT security and auditing products, tools, and/or techniques. Five or more years of progressively responsible Information Systems experience.
