The Voice/Data Engineer will typically specialize in Cisco’s best practices for the operation of telephony and data interfaces and systems including proprietary functions within the communications area of the school district. General wiring excluded, the Voice/Data Engineer ensures that any specialized routing and/or switching devices are properly deployed and installed and configured according to operational specifications. The Voice/Data Engineer is also an expert in audio/visual, teleconferencing, and Cisco voice mail equipment.
