If you have any suitable resources please respond to * [email protected]* only *QA Test Engineer * *LOCATION: NYC* *DURARION: 6+ months* *Description:* Lead in the design and development of a robust, extensible test harness for the company's SOA. * Lead the effort to evaluate and select the toolset(s) to use for automated testing of the company SOA. * Debug and troubleshoot complex issues and provide solutions.. * Interpret test automation results. * Maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers. * Prepare management reports documenting test execution results * Participate in defining automation test strategy, structure and methodology. * In conjunction with Business and Quality Assurance Analysts, responsible for analyzing use cases and test scenarios. * Assist with the research and development of test automation best practices. * Track defects / issues and enhancements The primary responsibility of the Applications Engineer is to lead the effort to work with the development and quality assurance teams to develop component test scripts, create new test harnesses and implement the new component scripts. Modifies and maintains SOA test infrastructure for existing services to fit specialized needs and configurations, and maintains program libraries and technical documentation. *REQUIRED SKILLS:* * Minimum 5 years of programming in Java. * Web Services testing skills using SOAPUI, or other tool/homegrown driver. * Strong understanding of SOA and Web Services * Strong database skills, mainly in Oracle * Strong skills with XML and XML parsers * Good understanding of object oriented programming, J2EE architecture, .NET, etc * Must demonstrate an understanding of IP networking, protocols such as HTTP and HTTPS, firewalls, routers, etc. * Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Must be flexible, independent and self motivated * Hands on experience with major Application and Web servers (BEA Web logic, Web sphere, IIS, Apache, etc) is a plus *If you are interested with the above opening please send the below information ASAP* *Email me a copy of your updated WORD formatted resume with the below details….* 1.
