Earlier size of team this year was around 160)* in a variety of areas within an IS PMO Key tasks will be of a *finance, governance & control, and logistical nature *. Resource will be required to be knowledgeable in these areas, and per situations independently lead program teams in the execution of project management activities. *(Are there specific activities you would expect them to perform??* *Activities listed are in support of project/program managers and will be through direction from these leads. * * * *Responsibilities will range from:* · *Basic Logistics and Coordination (e.g. meeting coordination and scheduling, on boarding of new resources, SharePoint management/cleanup, presentation preparation for meetings, etc.)* · *Finance Analysis & Reporting (e.g. invoice reconciliation and vendor payment, accrual entry, management of funds within cost centers, assisting with monthly cost/labor forecasts, etc.)* · *Governance & Control (e.g. creation and management of project plans, facilitation of issue and scope tracking, capturing lessons learned, distributing and helping with methodology processes and documentation, etc.) * * Experience working on large scale IS integration programs, and in a PMO environment *(How many years of professional experience ____, How many years of PMO experience_____)Answer to both varies. * * I won’t rule out a candidate that has experience with project finance management, but is lacking a full governance/PMO background. * *Best case scenario is an individual with a broad range of experience in these areas, and the initiative and ability to learn new things quickly. * * Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, XLS and Word * Analytical skills and understanding of transactional finances * Business Objects/Crystal Reports (*Will they develop reports from scratch? Would these be complex reports?) No, they will just be running these reports and provide input on improvements or ways to utilize these in daily coordinator activities* * Understanding of the System Development Life Cycle * Good organizational skills, able to prioritize and manage time, good communication and comfortable with dealing with complex situations. *(What sort of situations are you referring too?* *Since they may take direction from a number of different leads they need to be able to handle emergency type requests, prioritize them, and escalate need for help or concerns to the appropriate leaders* * Experience with Microsoft SharePoint *(as an end user or should they know how to administer a share point site?)* *Probably more along the line of administration – experience with setting up users, managing space and document retention, structuring the site to be efficient and easy to use, etc.* * Comfortable with engaging leadership at all levels within an organization *(Up through executive?) * * Possibly – for example may help with presentation prep for the VP of Supply Chain, or a Sr. Director in IT. * * Able to navigate organizations to facilitate and influence key activities and processes required by the PMO *(What sort of activities??) * *Adherence to methodologies, proper labor reporting by project resources, timely invoicing by vendors, follow up with owners in our issue log, etc.* * Good with taking direction and independently completing tasks *REQUIREMENT (2)**:* *Role Title: *Program Manager *Duration:* 3 Months *Primary Location:* Milwaukee, WI *Travel Required:* No *Role Level: *Senior *Assignment Description: * The Program Manager is responsible for managing complex projects and/or large divisional projects to achieve business objectives and deliver business benefits, ensuring that risks are identified and managed appropriately, and objectives are achieved within budget, within time and to the required quality. Further, the program manager also will manage multiple related projects of lesser complexity simultaneously.
