Title: Oracle 11g -DBA 8+ years experience · F2F is must. · Local is preferred. But not must if candidate can come for face to face with own expenses. Oracle DBA leads the design, development, integration and maintenance of complex, enterprise databases in support of the Intelligence Community's Information Sharing Environment. Designs, develops and maintains databases. Designs, implements and supports database backup, recovery systems, database migration and archiving systems and procedures. Develops and implements database security infrastructure and user access accounts; Collaborates with architects and technical specialists to identify proper hardware and software implementations. Plans, installs and tests software upgrades and patches. Monitors database performance trends to identify and correct problems. Design and implement highly available solutions, with extensive knowledge of replication and scaling; Provides consultation on strategic direction for database design, development and maintenance. Directs the design, implementation and test of Oracle database backup, recovery systems, database migration and archiving systems and procedures. Requires experience in Oracle running in virtualized environments. Researches, issues, and provides strategic direction related to Oracle database security. Recommends proper hardware and software implementations to improve software quality, efficiency and minimize cost. Defines architecture and thresholds for Oracle database monitoring and performance management. Performs requirement definition as it relates to all aspects of Oracle enterprise implementations. Oracle Text and Oracle Streams experience is a plus.
