The role is still pending approval but salary expectations would be $70-80K. The MSC-Order-Flow application team is responsible for the planning, development, creation, and testing of various interfaces. These interfaces are responsible for the file transfer of over 150,000 files/day that span hundreds of servers and include such mission critical transfers as orders/invoices/ship confirmations. Purpose: The Application Development Analyst is responsible for new route setup/testing/implementation within the IRMS/MFT space. *Responsibilities:* · Setup new route configurations within the IRMS/MFT system. · Integration test new routes to confirm desired file movement. · Troubleshoot issues found during testing using working knowledge of DNS, FTP, TCP/IP, and Operating System/File System principles. · Maintain accurate and detailed logs of newly configured routes. · Promote tested routes to production. · Strong troubleshooting knowledge/logic with ability to accurately read and assessment of error log files. · Rotating on-call every 3-4 weeks. · Other duties as assigned. *Knowledge/Skills:* · Excellent communication, problem solving, and judgment skills. · Must be able to work independently with little supervision but seek help when needed. · Strong knowledge of network topologies including TCP/IP, FTP, and DNS. · Strong knowledge of operating system and file system principles within a production windows environment. · Strong knowledge of operating system concepts on iSeries and UNIX platforms. · Strong knowledge of UNIX shell commands · Strong knowledge of shell/ksh scripting. · Knowledge of ANSI SQL and more specifically Microsoft SQL Server. *Additional skills (items below seen as a bonus but not requirements):* · Experience with ftp interface configuration desired * * If you are interested with the above openings please send the below information ASAP *Email me a copy of your updated WORD formatted resume with the below details….* 1.
