In addition, this individual will perform AIX based server product evaluation such as new OS release and technologies to accommodate business requirement and server consolidation efforts and coordinate OS and server activity with multiple groups. The selected candidate will provide consulting services to develops on design, performance and tuning and create and maintain server documentation relating to server configuration and applications.Perfoem on-call support. *Preferences:* Demonstrated knowledge in server configuration for optimal security and firewall technologies. Experience in supporting server that run Oracle or UDB.Any performance and tuning exp is a plus. Experience in supporting backup products (e.g Tivoli Storage Manager) is a strong plus.
