*Position: Oracle/Java Developer * *Location: Malvern, PA * *Duration: 12 month initial engagement* · Provides senior level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases for Oracle, PL/SQL, mainframe, client/server, software or middleware. · Translates technical specifications, and/or logical and physical design into code for new or enhancement projects for internal clients. · Develops code that is re-usable, is well structured and is easy to maintain. · Elevates code into the development, test, and Production environments on schedule. · Provides follow up Production support. · Thoroughly understands Agile software development methodology. · Understands architecture standards. · Participates in design, code, and test Inspections throughout life cycle to identify issues. · Explains technical considerations at related meetings, including those with internal clients. · Performs systems analysis, including system requirements analysis and definition (e.g., prototyping), and logical and physical design. · Writes the system/technical portion of assigned deliverables, including the Version Description Document. · Acts as a system tester for unit, integration, systems, acceptance, and related testing. · Writes the test plan to ensure requirements are satisfied. · Thoroughly understands client business functions and technology needs. · Interfaces with cross functional team members, including database administrator, IT security, project manager, technical writer, and clients. · Communicates systems issues at the appropriate technical level for each audience. · Thoroughly understands and complies with all Information Security policies and procedures, and verifies deliverables meet Information Security requirements. *Comments:* · This position is mostly PL/SQL. · The Java requirement is with respect to the ability to analyze and follow Java programs to understand and troubleshoot. *Required Skills: * · Oracle, PL/SQL, Database structure, Performance Tuning, Web Services, JAVA, J2EE - specifically experience with Servlets, JSPs, JSF, WebSphere, UNIX, JDBC, Security Concepts (SSO, XSS, SQL Injections, etc.), CI tools (Maven, Subversion, Hudson & Nexus), or at a minimum, familiarity version control systems · Batch Processing, Mainframe (nice to have) experience · Application Tuning and Optimization (front-end through DB) · Experience in Performance tuning, scaling applications for business growth · Experience managing numerous concurrent tasks · Experience estimating and planning work · Experience with Agile · Strong, demonstrated analysis and problem solving skills If you are interested with the above openings please send the below information ASAP *Email me a copy of your updated WORD formatted resume with the below details….* 1.
