Briefly describe the kind of work performed in the unit: Drawing upon your understanding of complete systems development cycles, you will work with various product development teams as they complete the design process, advising and assisting them to help move projects into production. You will provide production support, be involved in applying upgrades/fixes, and developing customizations to support existing PeopleSoft Financial Application suite (GL, AP, AM, PC). *Essential Functions/Responsibilities* Independently performs highly complex software development activities. Development is performed across a variety of technology platforms, based upon the underlying architecture of the business systems supported.Formulates/defines system scope and objectives for assigned projects. Translates business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs. This includes working with internal or external personnel, peers or management. Performs gap analysis and identifies technology components needed to support business. Development is performed across a variety of technology platforms, based upon the underlying architecture. Working in partnership with LOB service partners and technology team members, leads system testing and user acceptance testing of advanced and highly complex system enhancements. Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming. Has good understanding of the business or function for which application is designed. Provides end user consulting and support on all information technology. Responsible for technology quality assurance review; may also assume responsibility for coordinating overall business system quality assurance. Responsible for directing and monitoring the work of team members. May be responsible for project completion. Responsible for the integration of software and hardware, which will leverage enterprise technologies and systems to deliver a comprehensive infrastructure supporting systems in a heterogeneous, n-tier multi-platform environment.
