If yes, please send me your latest resume as per the requirement ASAP. *Job title: Ab Initio Developer * *Location: Dallas, Texas* *Duration: 12 – 18 months* *Quantity: Multiple positions* *Job Responsibilities*: The selected candidate will be joining a fast pace, dynamic data warehouse team in a major financial institution to conduct the following major tasks: - Design and implement various data feed ETL transformations using Ab Initio for BI and compliance data warehouse - Create, maintain, and support data warehousing applications and processes. - Performance tuning on ETL processing both in the Ab Initio and database layer. *General Requirements*: *Ab Initio Development Experience: 4+ years* *Financial Service/Brokerage Experience: 4+years* *Educational Credentials: Bachelors (or higher) in Computer Science/Related Study* * * *Technical Skills*: The potential candidate must have the following experience and skills: - Extensive knowledge of software development life-cycle - Solid understanding of Ab Initio GDE, EME, and Co Op and the interaction among these components. - Well versed with most of the Ab Initio data transform components. Solid working experience with Ab Initio continuous flows. - Good experience in large volume of Equity and Fixed income transaction data processing by using data parallelism. - Solid experience with disparate data formats as source and report feeds. - Strong Scripting experience with UNIX shell scripting. - Proficient in databases development within Oracle. Excellent SQL skill. - Working knowledge of data modeling including relational and dimensional data modelsMust be experienced with programming in C++, and/or JAVA. - Knowledge on Equity trading. Familiar with equity trading data analysis. - Strong team player, multi-tasking capable, can work efficiently under pressure and pay attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong problem solving skill *The following skills are strongly preferred*: - Ab Initio BRE, Data Profiler - Job control and system monitoring tools such as Autosys and ITRS. - BI and compliance reporting experience such as OATS, OTS, best execution. - Data modeling and ER diagram - Knowledge on financial instrument, market data and reference data.
