Just to help you because the job description is so large, here is what they are looking for. Somebody with very Web Services background! Not looking for a technical Java people. I need people who understand Web Services, the advantages of using it. Why it used, and has a complete understanding of it. The other part of this is very strong XML experience. People who have RPC/Jax B or Jax WS. This s a SERVICES based developer not a standard UI front end developer. Development of services with integration to other internal and third party sites. XML and mq are good communication and technical writing skills are mandatory The following are mandatory: **Understanding of J2EE, MQ Series, IBM RAD, Apache Struts, Unix Shell Scripting, Database, Db2, SQL, HTML, JavaScript and XML technologies* *Extensive experience in esb (enterprise service bus), SOA (service oriented architecture), JAX RPC, Apache Axis and creating WSDLs*** Design and develop J2EE software components in a fast paced multidisciplinary environment. * Lead discrete development projects and take complete ownership of technical solution. * Develop accurate level of effort estimates, and manage task schedules. * Excellent communication skills that can be used to effectively communicate technical concepts to business teams. * Understand consumer customer requirements with respect to its impact to the success of the business goal and be able to translate them to a technical implementation. * Suggest innovative solutions to business problems/processes that leverage technology to provide marketing differentiation, performance improvements, and better user experiences. * Interact well with other technical team leaders such as architects, testing, analysts, and release managers as a lead member of the development team in order to accomplish the business goal. *Write the detail technical design documentation, *Code and unit test J2ee applications *Write detailed technical specifications for subsystems and identify integration points *Estimate project timelines and resources required to complete programming projects *Perform unit testing and debugging and set test conditions based on code specifications *On call responsibilities after implementations Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in related business area or equivalent work experience and 6 or more years of related work experience *1 or more years of experience in a technical lead role *Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle, product development methodologies and system integration *Experience with unix (AIX) operating systems *Understanding of coding design and documentation protocol as well as unit testing, change management and release procedures *Demonstrated experience programming using java J2EE language *PC Skills *Experience using SQL or similar query language *Demonstrated experience using debugging tools -RAD *Demonstrated experience using versioning tools (Clear case, ) *Experience using a report-writing tool Healthcare industry knowledge ( I would hire without but this very nice to have) *Flowcharting tools (Visio)
