My client is a network solution provider looking for a strong RoR (Ruby on Rails) specialist to join its team. The candidate have exposure to various technologies and be expected to work on several configurations for various projects. This is a role that will allow the candidate to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and focus on various technologies including Ruby on Rails. This is an opportunity for a candidate to grow and advance their exposure to networking/ security technologies. This position is a contract opportunity located in Midtown Manhattan, paying top rates. In order to be successful, the candidate must have the following expertise including: - Extensive knowledge Ruby on Rails - Knowledge of Suse Linux (preferably vs 11, pack One) - Experience with Operating System deployment - Ability to work in an autonomous environment - Some exposure to production QA environments - Strong communication skills - liaise senior management and interact with internal and external clients.
