DoOnDataDisplay(); var x = MyNamespace.MyClass.MyMethod(...).value; HideOnDataDisplay(); But I will tell you that this will not work 100%, so MOVE to the asynchronous calls, there is no need of synchronous calls, and they are very bad if you loose the connection or the connection will be slow, you browser will hang!!!!!!!
