I will look at the eval command - but the need for this type of thing is that I am creating DOM elements dynamically that I need to register with the YAHOO ui library to enable the effects on them.

This is the only way I know to register them with the YUI library.

Maybe you should take a look at the eval() command of _javascript_.

I don't understand the sense of creating a <script/> like this in runtime.
