Sorry all.  The problem only exists in running the application in the WebServer.EXE (vs built-in).  This has to do with the problem noted by MS with the dev server in studio switching threads unexpected and thus the principal is not found.

I'm having a problem running an Ajax methdo from within my project.  I suspect it has to do with security and a httphandler looking for a principal object.  So, the question is how do I handle this?

 In Fiddler, the error I see is this:

null; r.error = {"Message":"Type is not resolved for member 'InstantWorkflow2.Security.SecurityPrincipal,InstantWorkflow2.Security, Version= 1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'.","Type":" System.Runtime.Serialization.SerializationException"}null; r.error = {"Message":"Type is not resolved for member 'InstantWorkflow2.Security.SecurityPrincipal,InstantWorkflow2.Security, Version= 1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'.","Type":"System.Runtime.Serialization.SerializationException"}
