While Anthem.Net looks promising, it's still early in the development cycle. There are still lots of bugs to be worked out.
Anthem.Net is similar to Microsoft's Atlas framework. While it reduces the amount of JavaScript you have to write and it doesn't break the page model (view-state) it not very efficient in regards to the amount of JS that gets returned to the client. Also, as far as I could tell the JavaScript isn't cache on the client. Also, I didn't notice if you could return a .Net object to the client and then send it back to the server. To me, this is a powerful feature that I would miss. Pre-made JavaScript would be nice but I want to be able to use business object on the client machine.
