I'm currently in the middle of a big project which is using AJAX Pro and log4net. We haven't had any problems with getting log4net to work with AJAX Pro. It works just like it normally would. I do notice sporadic problems with log4net from time-to-time where it ceases to log errors or even debug info. If you're looking for a client-to-sever solution for all your client errors then just create an AJAX Pro method to handle this and pass all the error/debug info to log4net.
