U can do that but 4 that u hv to set CauseValidation  property =false it ll not raise Selected Index Changed Event and u hv to call Explicityly funciton using _javascript_ or C# or any other language and u hv to call that funciton in Html OnSelectedIndexChanged Event
and pass that value to aspx.cs page and display data According to that
