it's not a huge deal.  there are a few tests that rely on hello.txt and
the directory structure that we'll need to fix or replace.

i also have a few personal scripts that use lockprov.  i can change
those scripts to use the new location, or just keep those scripts in my
own KFS out of version control (like most of KFS, actually - you need
to -f anything in there).

overall, i've just used the root of KFS as a 'home' directory (due to
our lack of a user).  i happen to cat hello.txt or open hello.txt as a
dummy file, but i'm fine with removing it from version control.  i can
just put it back in my own KFS.
