Mari All of the frogs came out in Fairbanks and the Delta Junction area last weekend too. I did a frog calling survey last night and heard quite a few frogs. I also heard great grey owls and saw bison, moose, caribou, sharp-tailed grouse, bunnies and one wolf, along with a lot of other birds.

Just wanted to let you know we heard the first frogs calling on the 12th across the bay. For sure there were 2 or more but since it was midnight we didn't head on over to count them. The previous 3 days before the 12th we had been to the outlet river daily hoping to hear them but no such luck. Also looked for them in the usual spots, no luck there either. We would guess that they are now out & calling down there as well as here on the bay, but the ice is getting worse for traveling. I'll send in your forms in a bit, but most likely you won't see them until ice out and the Park plane on floats. Best Wishes, Jeanette
