Hi all,

We used akka-persistence to persist messages to replay in case of failure
during processing. As soon as we process messages successfully, we delete
them permanently from leveldb using *deletemessage(sequenceNr, true)* method.
However, our journal directory size is now 300M after >1M messages. I know
that leveldb runs background job for compaction to reduce the disk size.

Is there any way to trigger cleaning leveldb tables to reduce the disk size?

or

Is there any property in akka-persistence to clean journal permanently?

Regards,

Egemen
