Hi, I'm implementing a HTTP-based client that sends out requests and receives responses asynchronously. I need to set a receive timeout and cancel a request that hasn't been responded to within a specified amount of time.
If I do this using Akka Futures, is there a way to set a timeout on a Future in a non-blocking way and cancel it if has not completed? I see a way to do this rather easily with actors with a one-shot "tick" message, but I would like to avoid the overhead of actors for my task.
