Hi Patrik, Your suggestion worked. Thank you for that. Now if I start a 2nd worker and I use the joinAddress as you described, if I stop the first backend I would expect the 2nd backend to take over.
joinAddress was set to: akka.tcp://[email protected]:2552 When the 2nd backend is started I see this: ClusterSingletonManager state change [Start -> Younger] which makes sense. When I stopped the first backend, I see these logs: Cluster Node [akka.tcp://[email protected]:56240] - Marking node(s) as UNREACHABLE [Member(address = akka.tcp://[email protected]:2552, status = Up)] [akka.tcp://[email protected]:56240/system/endpointManager/reliableEndpointWriter-akka.tcp%3A%2F%2FWorkers%40127.0.0.1%3A2552-0] Association with remote system [akka.tcp://[email protected]:2552] has failed, address is now gated for [5000] ms.
