Hi, Creating an ActorSelection is very cheap, but you can still gain from caching them if you want to save on allocations. Sending through ActorSelections is more expensive than through ActorRefs, so I would consider using them instead. (You can use the Identify message to retrieve the ActorRef behind an ActorSelection)
