Hi Sam, you are talking about this ticket; the only reason it is not implemented yet is that our current efforts are directed by what Akka HTTP needs, and that was not one of them. But it is the fundamental flattening operator for streams (instead of the flatMap-intuitive “concat”), so yes, we will support it—including the aspect of boundedness.
